Welcome to SAAMBA
We kindly invite you to our next meeting in the new "Synaptic SAAMBA" initiative
on 24th March 2017 in WUT BS with
Pablo Rodas-Martini, Ph.D., M.Sc.
Vice President and Director of Market Intelligence at Emerging & Frontier.
We will have a discussion on
"The impact of Donald Trump's economic policies on the European Union"
Our guest will explain the changes that Trump administration is proposing and their possible impact on the EU economy. Are those economic policies (monetary, trade, investment, infrastructure), sometimes also referred to as "Trumponomics", something new and original or just the opposite? Will US economic policies lead the world toward another crisis? Is there any way we should be prepared?
Pablo Rodas-Martini has a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Economics from Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London. He was Chief Economist of the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) and Advisor at the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) and United Nations Development Program (UNDP). He has also been a researcher on international trade and development economics for international organizations and think tanks such as the World Bank, UNDP, IADB, USAID, IDRC, FLACSO, ECLAC, WTO, EC, OECD, and FAO, among others. Currently, he is Vice President and Director of Market Intelligence at Emerging & Frontier, a recently created consulting company promoting trade and investment between the Americas and Central and Eastern Europe.
The new form of the "Synaptic SAAMBA" meetings include short presentation of our guest and a vivid (hopefully) discussion afterwards. Come, ask, learn, discuss - we want to know your point of view!
Friday, March 24th, 2017, 18:00-19:30.
Warsaw University of Technology Business School, 79 Koszykowa Street, room 300.
The meeting will be held in English.
